Levitt AMP Ocala: Shamarr Allen w/ Miranda Madison

The 2023 Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series presents Shamarr Allen with opening artist Miranda Madison on Friday, June 23 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Webb Field at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Complex.
The performance is free. Please bring your chairs and blankets. Food is available from La Ventanita Cubana, Big Lee’s – Serious About Barbecue, and Kona Ice Ocala. Fun field games and activities with the Ocala Recreation and Parks recreation vehicle.
Each concert in the series features a local non-profit organization working to create art accessibility in our community; tonight’s featured non-profit is Art Army.

HEADLINING ARTIST: Shamarr Allen
Shamarr Allen is a trumpeter/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with an unconventional approach to brass. He is the definition of New Orleans! Hailing from the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans, Allen has influences in jazz, hip-hop, funk rhythms, blues, and country.

Miranda Madison carries the timeless elegance that fills every venue, from an intimate bistro to a crowded auditorium. She sings a smooth jazz that’ll serenade you to the French Riviera and the clubs of 1940’s New York.
